Glad to report that Ese Oruru, the fourteen-year-old girl abducted from
Bayelsa State in August 2015, delivered a baby girl today at the
Government House clinic in the Bayelsa State capital Yenagoa. The father
of the baby is reportedly Yunusa Dahiru, the man who abducted Ese last
year. These developments were confirmed by Ese’s father Charles Oruru.
Mr. Oruru said that the baby girl and Ese are in good health and that she had a safe delivery.
He added that Ese was in the company of her mother during the delivery.
Mr. Charles Oruru confirmed, "Ese delivered a bouncing girl and she and the baby are in good health, I just left the clinic where I went to see them."
