Sometimes, you find yourself wide awake and unable to fall asleep late at night, you probably want to diagnose yourself with insomnia, hold it! Not so fast, have you considered the following options that may be responsible for your dry eyes? Keep reading………

       1. Loneliness: Are you missing someone? Going through a breakup or just plain needing someone around. Loneliness can cause sleep deprivation, try to fix it.

     2. Cold: try checking the temperature where you are to see if it's the reason why you can't sleep. The room is probably too cold to let your body fall asleep. The temperature should be just right, that is not too cold and not too hot.

   3. Heat: Again, the heat might be the culprit, ensure that there's proper ventilation around the room.

    4. Hunger: Did you skip dinner? Is your stomach protesting the lack of food in your system, that could easily be the reason you can't fall asleep. Having a late Night snack may be unhealthy, but sometimes you can't escape it.
   5. Late night texting: chances are, if you spend too much time bent over your phone, chatting and texting or whatever, it could stop you from being able to sleep when you finally want to. It's really a very unhealthy habit that we have to try to curb or at the very least, reduce.

   6. Memories: Reliving memories is something most of us do before going to bed, whether its good memories or bad ones, dwelling on them really does us no good but keeps us from getting to sleep

    7. Overthinking: trying to solve every single one of your problems by overthinking the issue, over and over again will not help you fall asleep or get any good sleep if you happen to fall asleep eventually, you need to let go and stop over thinking everything. Remember you cant fix everything overnight.

    8. The Internet: Yes! The Internet, hard to stay away from, really very helpful, but yet so addictive. The key is not to go overboard.
