Prince, the legendary recording artist died Wednesday in Minneapolis at his paisley park home, according to his Publicist. He was 57. TIME Magazine rounded up some surprising about the life of the Grammy award winning Singer.

·       His nickname was skipper while growing up.

·       He had a thing for doves.

·       When he was 10 he danced on stage with James Brown, the "God Father of Soul".

·       Spaghetti and Orange Juice was one of his Favourite meals.
